Hi, I'm Riley Earl, owner of REF Media Company. I moved to Penn Yan in 2020 and quickly fell in love with the Finger Lakes region. Photography and videography have been a passion of mine for over 10 years, and in 2020 I turned that passion into a full-time business.

Over the past several years I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of local businesses — including wineries, breweries, restaurants, and tourism brands — creating photo and video content that helps them tell their story. Through that experience, I discovered a particular passion for real estate media.

Today, much of my work focuses on partnering with real estate agents and property owners to showcase homes at their very best. My goal is simple: provide a seamless client experience while delivering high-quality media that helps listings stand out, attract buyers, and sell faster.

Being based in Penn Yan allows me to work closely with agents and businesses across the Finger Lakes, and I'm always excited to help bring the next property to life.

Typically 30–60 edited photos for a standard residential shoot, depending on the size of the home and services booked. Every image is professionally edited and ready to use.

The Shoot

Most residential shoots take 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the size of the property and services booked. We'll give you a time estimate when you book.

To get the best results, we recommend: decluttering countertops and surfaces, making all beds, turning on all interior lights, opening blinds and curtains, removing vehicles from the driveway, and ensuring the lawn and exterior are tidy. A clean, well-lit home always photographs beautifully.

Interior photography can proceed in most weather conditions. Drone flights are weather and FAA dependent — if conditions aren't safe we'll reschedule the drone portion at no extra cost. If the day is cloudy or overcast, we include sky replacement on all exterior photos at no extra charge so your listing always looks its best.
